1. Introduction
Welcome to clipmy.life. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our photo-to-video creation service operated by clipmy.life ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service Description
clipmy.life provides a done-for-you video creation service. You upload 2-15 photos and provide a story prompt. Our team creates a short cinematic video based on your materials and delivers it to your email address.
3. Orders and Payment
Pricing: The current price is £49 per video. All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Payment: Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Order confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your order is successfully placed and payment is received.
4. Delivery
Delivery time: We aim to deliver your completed video within 2-4 hours of receiving your order. During peak periods, delivery may take up to 24 hours.
Delivery method: Your video will be delivered via email as a downloadable MP4 file.
Download availability: Download links remain active for 30 days after delivery. Please download and save your video within this period.
5. Revisions and Satisfaction Guarantee
Free revisions: If you are not satisfied with your video, we offer free revisions until the edit feels right. Revision requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
Revision scope: Revisions include adjustments to pacing, music, style, and photo selection. Major changes (e.g., completely different concept) may require a new order.
Response time: We aim to complete revision requests within 24-48 hours.
6. Refunds
Before delivery: You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before we begin working on your video.
After delivery: If we are unable to produce a satisfactory video despite reasonable revision attempts, we will issue a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of original delivery.
Processing: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and will be credited to the original payment method.
7. Your Content
Ownership: You retain full ownership of the photos you upload and the resulting video we create for you.
Licence to us: By uploading photos, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to use them solely for the purpose of creating your video. This licence terminates when your files are deleted from our servers.
Your responsibility: You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to all photos you upload, and that the content does not violate any third-party rights.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
- Contains nudity or sexually explicit material
- Promotes violence or discrimination
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware or harmful code
We reserve the right to refuse service and issue refunds for orders containing prohibited content.
9. Intellectual Property
Our content: The clipmy.life website, branding, and editing techniques are our intellectual property.
Music: Videos are created using royalty-free or licensed music. You may use your video for personal purposes. For commercial use (advertising, resale), please contact us to discuss licensing.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, clipmy.life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to deliver high-quality videos, results may vary based on the quality and content of uploaded photos.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
